The adventure continues....
What do you think of me popping out of Fred Penners log? Cool eh? I have brought lots of Canadian children's music with me and listen to Fred everyday. I am sharing him with my possums and they are enjoying the music a lot. I think the sandshich song is the fav at the moment although Octopuses Garden is close behind! The Great Ocean Road is AMAZING. Having said that I think you should all go to Cape Breton and drive up to Ingonish beach. Do I look scared on the air walk? Can you guess how I am making friends? Time to go visit some Canadian friends. More pics to come guys!
G'Day eh!

G'Day dear Bern,
ReplyDeleteAdventure indeed! This Irish/Canuck is loving each episode. Those lucky little possums are getting a taste of Canadian culture while their teacher immerses herself in all things Aussie. And more wonderful photos - that moody wild beach could be Ingonish (I've been there and it is spectacular) but it also reminds me of the wildness off the west coast of Ireland.
How's about some photos of the quilt you're working on? Are the instructions easy? Finally got myself a new sewing machine to replace my mother's antique - another Singer. No more squinting & using a magnifying glass to thread the needle.
I just added you as a Skype contact. One of these days ......
Love & hugs,
Ann from the 'wet' coast
P.S. It's warming up at last
Hey Bern! You don't look frightened on the bridge - I am very impressed. Who is taking the pictures!? The reason that I ask is that Bazza and I just spent two weeks in Alberta. I think I am in 4 pictures out of two hundred - as I was usually the person behind the camera. And in fact, in one of those four pictures I turned the camera around and took a picture of myself!
ReplyDeleteI too would like to see the pictures of the quilt! (Hint! Hint!)
All is well here. Things are greening up - the lot across the street will soon be opaquely green - so far it is sort of translucent! The new trees I planted have leaves and we are both fine.
I have more blog to read, but I sure enjoyed this part!
