Happy Mother's day!

Hey gang!
I wanted to wish all my favourite mom's a very happy Mother's day. It's the most important job there is and we all do the best we can. To my offspring Matt and Amelia I love you. To my own dear mother thank you. I love you mom.

I am still fighting with a cold. I am still trying to get term 2 organised. I am still trying to sort out the pictures from the last trip. I am still working on my magic tiles quilt(thanks Jane the pattern is working fine-I love the notes-PIN PIN PIN!) I am still going 100 mph in 10 different directions. I guess it really doesn't matter what continent you are on.

Thanks JR for the sunshine-how about a pic of those tulips please? Sue D. could you please send me the recipe for Mexican meatball soup? I am on soup next week and I know how much I enjoy that soup. Sonya dear please send an email-we need to chat. Gail I want to hear what you are up to as well. Mandy I want some pics of your garden please. Jane when you get home we will chat on Skype-any one else want to Skype??? Let me know. Bunkos babes I hope you are getting used to having someone else be queen of the "L" club-don't worry I will be back! Barb I was out walking along the Torrens River and serendipity the firefighters/police blokes 10K was happening at the same time. I did wonder if I could catch one I could keep him.

I am off to have a cup of real coffee. Then I am going to sew on my quilt. Then I am going to a BBQ compliments of my new Canadian friends Jenn and her daughter Danna-who is doing the cooking. Whatever you do this Mother's Day-Enjoy! Miss and love you all!
G'Day eh!

  1. Bern, you sound busy and happy. I'm glad to hear it. If you need new soup recipes let me know, I have one for Crab Chowder that is to DIE for!

We are going to finish the Basement this week - so that we can start concentrating on the outside work next week. I hope things are not as busy as they look from this remove!

I'll send you some pictures via email - sure you don't want to get back on facebook? You could do it with an assumed name!! LOL

    Take care!
    Love ya! Jane
